A new facility being offered by Print Rooms and Post Rooms, is a service offering for handling scanning into a Content Management System. Often there may also be a cost associated with this service. docQticket supports this with its integration to many of the most popular cost recovery platforms allowing for charging back to billing codes within these platforms. docQticket allows configuring multiple workflows which include all the indexing information required for the CMS as well as configuring the requirements for the document format (PDF, PDF/A, TIFF). This negates the need for installing custom software onto the production room multifunctional devices. Operators can use the standard scan to folder of the MFD and then in docQticket apply all the metadata and custom index fields for the document before submitting it for filing within the CMS at which point the job will be charged.
Jobs can be scanned in batches and automatically combined. There is also a ticket page with a QR code which can be printed off and used as the header for each section of the batch in order to have it automatically added to an existing batch (this ticket page will be automatically removed before the job is added to the batch).
All work is logged to a searchable history database for auditing purposes.
